Well, thankfully, today was a better day, pregnancy wise. I suppose. I'd rather already be in labor and get this baby girl OUT OF MY BODY; however, I'll gladly accept all her painful wiggling around because I think she moved herself out of the posterior postion she must of been in to cause me all that back pain yesterday.

Easter was really low key this year...the Easter Bunny didn't have a chance (or forgot what day it was...po-tay-toe, po-tah-toe) to gather all the usual goodies for Easter morning. At roughly 12:30am she pulled out the few things she
had picked up and set them out on the kitchen table along with some scavanged (from holidays past, ahem) treats and hoped for the best. Thank goodness the boys were totally thrilled! Talk about dodging bullets...the Easter Bunny normally wouldn't be so disorganized but word on the street is she's knocked up and the hormones are on overload. So, really, we're lucky we got what we got. Among the goodies the Easter Bunny did manage to procure before the actual day of was a Star Wars egg decorating kit. And did we ever have fun with that! Hard Boiled Egg Darth Vader even has a helmet.
At the request of the Easter Bunny, Mr. Easter Bunny set out on a covert mission this morning to get filler for the egg hunt eggs and then he took the boys out to the park so the Easter Bunny could fill the eggs and hide them...that's when the Easter Bunny realized the eggs she'd bought for this year were already stuffed. Ahem, yes, pre-made, ready-to-hide, eggs. Can I make things anymore difficult? Sigh.
In between the covert candy mission and the Easter egg hunt we took the boys to see
Meet the Robinsons. What a great movie! Last August I bought
A Day with Wilbur Robinson for the boys and we all love the book. I have to say, though, that I was little concerned with how the book would work as a movie...tons of characters and situations that are fine for a children's book but would be totally convoluted for a movie. We were not disappointed
at all. The movie and book are by no means parallel, but they took the important characters and their quirks from the book and worked it all into a great story for the movie. Can't wait until it's out on DVD...we'll definitely be adding it to our collection.
Um, I also managed a couple snaps of my progress for Mimi's book. I apologize ahead of time for the crappy light...it's been overcast all weekend long.

And if it's possible, I'd like to make this post only slightly more meandering...check out this new site I stumbled upon this evening:
Junior Society. It's only a few days old yet, but is already jam packed with lovely links and product reviews for well designed gear and gadgets for the wee ones in your life.
