A new night light just in time for Valentine's Day! The image is taken from an antique postcard. I altered it a bit with PSP to give it an ethereal quality. I call it impressionistic, my husband calls it blurry...poh-TAY-toe, poh-TAH-toe.
It's a sweet little accent piece for most decor, from vintage, shabby, cottage-y to folk or primitive.
The night light will come to you with a 5 watt bulb and an on/off switch. Measurements for this night light are 5.5 inches high, 5 inches wide and 3 inches deep.

Angel (Cupid Wanna Be) Candy Box
For the life of me I can't remember the original name I donned this sweet gal with, but I certainly remember her tale of woe! You see, for as long as this dear little angel can fathom back she has always known deep in her heart of hearts that when the wings were being handed out she simply got the wrong pair! She is most certain that she was meant to be a cupid...you see, she loves love and all it entails and would gladly help any poor soul searching for their one true love.
Well, enough about that pitiful story and on to the particulars of this great piece of folk art. She is made of aged muslin with a pinch stitched nose and button eyes. Her wings are made from an OLD vintage quilt that I embellished with a bit of embroidery. The box she is perched atop is papier mache that I have painted and antiqued. The lid also has a fine crackle finish. The little scrabble letters spell out "BE MINE."
