Finola is a lovely little angel made of painted muslin and polymer clay. Her hair is a fluffy angora yarn, her frock is made from a bit of vintage petticoat lace and her wings are decopaged with bits of an old dictionary page. Her features are painted and polished off with a fine crackle finish.
Finola is sold but a bevy of sisters is in the making. Keep your eyes peeled!
Christmas Dove Tree Topper
This tree topper is made of painted cotton with lots of hand work. As usual, no glue was harmed or used in the making of this piece. The topper measures 12 inches tall over all and the dove is a little over ten inches wide.

Nomie Chubbs
Nomie gets his name from my son, Logan. Last year we actually had enough snow to build a small snowman and Logan was thrilled about it. He would reminisce with us about the "nomies" and we were at a total loss for days...then it made sense: nomies equals snowmen. Nomie is made of cotton batting with a wool felt nose. He's ready to start trimming his tree with a strand of rusty tin garland. Nomie stands 12.5 inches tall.

the embroidery with wool floss, all the applique is wool felt. The pillow foundation is a muslin and batting lined cotton gingham. The lining makes for a weighty, sort of
