today...

Today was also an exercise in patience. Molly was into everything today. EVERYTHING. Markers, glue, you name it. If a mess could possibly be made with it, she was all over it. Caleb also needed to go in for a couple vaccinations. To make a long story shorter: let me start with this, the parking lot was EMPTY. We were ten minutes early to the appointment figuring the nurse could get everything together so we could get in, get the two shots and be on our way in fifteen minutes or so...you know, so as to limit my currently healthy children's exposure to all the germs walking into the waiting room after we arrived. With all the waiting we were doing I mentioned that I thought it was kind of sucky to make a kid who knows he's getting shots wait well past his appointment time and asked if we could wait in the room where he would get his shots. If the regular nurse was on duty she would've whisked us back as soon as we got there and of her own accord. When we finally did get called back Logan declared loudly, "FINALLY!" The nurse and receptionist were clearly insulted, the waiting room snickered, I smiled sweetly and gave a little shrug as we all wandered to the exam room. Kids? What are you going to do? Um, yeah, so I managed to keep my cool for the most part, but I did write a letter to inform our doctor of the lackluster performance her afternoon crew puts on. Now whether or not I mail it as it stands remains to be seen. I'll reread it tomorrow and see if it needs a little fluffing or not.
In between all the aggravation and indignation I did manage to make a big batch of Halloweenie magnets:

Each is one of a kind as they are hand drawn and colored. I'm calling them Mini Captured Souls magnets. They'll be available tomorrow afternoon. I'll post a link. I'm also working on some regular Captured Souls suncatchers too, they probably won't be ready until Friday though.
