Last Wednesday was Logan's fourth six weeks awards assembly. It's a typical elementary school award ceremony: ribbons for honor roll, plastic bracelets for perfect attendance, certificates for excellence in special areas and at the end the school counselor gives a lecture on good character.

So far this year Logan has been on the honor roll every six weeks (twice on the straight A honor roll and twice on the A/B honor roll) and he's had perfect attendance all year too! At Wednesday's assembly he received his ribbon for being on the straight A honor roll and his bracelet for perfect attendance as well. But best of all he received his certificate of completion for speech therapy!



We were very lucky to have a fantastic speech pathologist in Mrs. C. She combines auditory AND visual cues with her methods and I think this is the reason Logan progressed so quickly through the program. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met, loves her job, loves the kids she works with and I am totally bummed Caleb won't be able to see her next year (our school districts were rezoned for next year - DAMMIT).

Way to go, Logan! We're all so proud of you!!
