ahem...

I volunteered to step in for Claire over at A Month of Softies while she and her family are busy welcoming their new addition to the world and then adjusting to life with a new baby added to the fray.

The theme for June is Mythical Creatures which works out well for me since I already have a little mermaid in the works. At the same time, when I finally landed on the theme for the month I had quite a few ideas pop into my mind...and (you may want to brace yourself) I wrote them down...with sketches. It's novel, I know. So with these new ideas I'm hoping for a fruitful "Month of Softies" myself. I hope you all will jump in on the theme too. I can't wait to see what everyone creates for the topic!
